Ata graduated as a geological engineer and has been working in cement and mining industry for more than 24 years. His career started at Ranger Exploration Company as an engineer in 1988 and then working in many companies in a different international location. Following Anglo American Company, he worked for Italcementi Group in Italy and Turkey as a geology manager responsible for the quarrying activities and reserve developments works.
Ata took the position of management for aggregates operation in SET Group in 2003. Within this position, he was responsible for production, maintenance, investments, and sales & marketing functions. From 2006 to 2010 he worked in Avrupa Cement and Essential Group in Turkey as raw materials director. Starting from 2010 he has been as a country manager for KENZ MINING A.Ş. in Turkey.
Ata is a most skilled professional for raw materials studies and quarrying management in cement, aggregate and concrete industries. He has got an excellent experience in technical audit, quarrying plant optimization and due diligence reporting, as well as training, works.
